Had a delicious lunch here! Every element on my full breakfast made me think someone behind the scenes there really cared about flavour. Delicious portobello, tasty tomatoes amazing bacon & black pudding. I couldn’t fault it. Atmosphere was great too, light & airy with many house plants around inside for sale. Highly recommended!

Today, I had brunch at Fork in the Rose for the first time, and I have to say the atmosphere was absolutely amazing! The place is beautifully decorated with plants and flowers, making it feel so warm and inviting. If you visit on a nice day, it’s even more refreshing and uplifting. One thing I love about this place is that it’s pet-friendly. The owner (or maybe a staff member... I’m not sure) was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Although it’s quite far from Newcastle University, I can already tell this will become one of my go-to spots. The food was delicious! I ordered the mushroom toast and Greek yogurt with a fruit salad since I’m currently on a diet. But on my next cheat day, I’m definitely coming back to try their cookies and pastries they looked so tempting! The prices are reasonable, and honestly, this place deserves 1000/10 because it’s just that good. Highly recommended!

A perfect Mother’sDay lunch. A lovely quiet atmosphere (no blaring background music!), excellent food (thanks again for the extra black pudding!!) and delightful service. Cannot be faulted and we’ll definitely come again. Thank you to all of the team.

Very lovely place. They not only do breakfast but also sale plants, banquets and pots. The plants and flowers are quite affordable the parts are very unique but maybe a little bit pricey I mostly one here for breakfast so finding out they also sell plants was a big surprise for your breakfast was amazing I really love their cakes I from also alter them egg Benedict but with mushrooms and then it looks amazing the mushroom the stuff we are tasty, but the Bacons are not that good. Anyway, overall, the whole experience is quite nice coffee or standard and this whole place has a nice vibe. I really like it and I think I’ll come back at some point.

Nice, cosy cafe. Not loads of choices for breakfast but a good array and likely something for everyone. I had halloumi benedict and it was very delicious, clearly cooked fresh and served hot! Also had a chai latte which was delicious. No issues with ordering oat milk either which was nice. The amount of food for the cost was good and the breakfast sorted me for my entire day. Staff were friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Would definitely visit again! We booked and it seemed to be a good idea on a Saturday morning as the place did fill up when we were there, hardly surprising given what a nice time we had!

I took my daughter and her pet Shiatzu to the Fork in the Rose for Fathers Day and I was impressed by the quality of the food. The service was delivered with a smile and the atmosphere was very relaxed. Although the experience did not come cheap, the quality more than justified this and we will visit again.
